HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR CLASSES?
Yoga is just like water in the ocean or stars in the galaxy! My yoga classes are just a drop of that ocean and I try to provide the purest form to my pupils. I follow the theme of yogic principles including Mantras, Mudras, Pranayamas, with Asanas and concluding with harvesting the benefits of long rest at the end in Shavasana. I always encourage my students to practice Yoga with a witness-like attitude (“Sakshi bhava”) to observe your body, mind and breaths without any judgment. I am told that my classes are physically challenging yet accessible for everyone because I provide the variations and you are free to flow your own way, after all it's your practice.
WHAT IS YOUR "WHY"? WHY DO YOU TEACH? WHY DO YOU PRACTICE?
One can learn and read many things in life but only a few things can be experienced. Yoga is an experiential science and a way of living, whoever gets it, feels blessed. I still feel that I am in the early stage of my journey and so far with my practice I have achieved some level of peace and empowerment in my body and mind. Ultimate goal is to harvest as many fruits as possible from Yoga and discover myself with this beautiful practice. I am a firm believer that we evolve as a teacher and human being when we share our learnings with others. I am from India, the birthplace of Yoga and I feel privileged to share my yoga learnings to empower the community.
LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME.
I cook and eat in an Ayurvedic way. I love to paint and craft with my kids. And I love inversions in my asana practice.
